Our first ever season of instructional t-ball is in the books! This will also be the only season Sister and Buddy could play on the same team!
Here are a few things we learned this season~
How to hit the ball and run to first base.
And that Buddy is the.slowest.runner.EVER! This little boy has never been known to get in a hurry for anything and getting to first base obviously isn't that important either. I think he knew no one would be able to get him out anyway!
That they don't make helments small enough for Buddy's head
That Sister LOVES every single thing about t-ball!
That she hustles the whole game and will go after every ball that is even close to her 'position.'
And she is serious about her game. So serious that when the ball hit her in the head, she didn't cry! She just said "Hey momma! I stopped that ball with my head!"
That Buddy only cares about the rocks on the field. So much that he thanked God tonight for all the rocks hiding on the field that he could put in his pocket.
That trophies are a big deal!
And must be stared at, slept with, and taken everywhere with us!
We are so glad the kids were old enough to play this year! And that they were able to play together was even better! They both loved it so much and have already said they want to play again next year. Which is just fine with me because I love the ball field!
