We started school this week!! Our summer is over--it was beyond fun and super packed, but I am honestly glad to be back on a routine. We like order in this house!
Sister was so gigglie on her first day! This year we have an awesome teacher that is so positive and excited to be at school--which makes Sissy feel the same! When I picked her up on the first day, she said she wished she could stay at school all night! I had not cried at all that day...until I heard her say that! It was definitely an answered prayer! The Lord knew just what we needed to get back on track with loving school! :)
As for Buddy, he was super happy to be in the Kangaroo class at his school! This will be his last year in Preschool~until he starts that K word that makes me want to cry. He is really turning into a little stinker! He loves friends and wants everyone to be his 'best friend!' So, when someone doesn't want to be his friend (as kids do), he gets his feelings hurt! The name "Buddy" fits him for sure!
He also loves to make everyone laugh! He doesn't want you to make fun of him, but he can come up with some of he craziest things to get a good laugh! This might come back to bite us! :)
I am so thrilled that we had an awesome start to school. I knew Buddy would be fine, but I was worried about Sister this year. I am so thankful for a much better start! Well, except that on Thursday of the first week she came down with Strep. But, I am crossing my fingers this will be our only illness...and it doesn't spread to the rest of us!
